ABOUT

ABOUT VILLAGE CROSSFIT

Village CrossFit was affiliated in May 2011 by owners / trainers Atish Gandhi, Tony He and Andrew Wood. Focused at attracting clientele from the Rice Village, Memorial Hermann / Medical Center, Highland Village and Galleria areas, Village CrossFit conducts both boot camp style and CrossFit classes.

Please join us at Village CrossFit for a unique method of fitness that centers around functional varied movements at relative high intensities for time. These “CrossFit” principles are embedded in each and every training session at Village CrossFit. Additionally, class sizes will always be limited – allowing for increased personal attention for each client. Ultimately, Village CrossFit provides all the benefits of personal training at a fraction of the cost! Furthermore, training in a small group setting provides both the motivation and challenge to finally achieve those seemingly out-of-reach fitness goals!

THE TRAINERS

BlakleyVCFBlakley Bonds

Blakley got her start in competitive sports at a young age.  From her childhood through 18 years of age, Blakley kneeboarded competitively.  During this time summers consisted primarily of practices and tournaments every single weekend.  Although this was a busy time for her and her family, it also holds some of her most cherished memories and she wouldn’t trade a second of this time.  In addition to kneeboarding, Blakley was on the Jump Rope, Soccer, Water Polo, and Swim Team in High School.

Searching for a place to work out while living in Tennessee in 2009, she found the folks at CrossFit Middle Tennessee. Getting involved in CrossFit re-lit that competitive fire in her and she’s been hooked every since.  Blakley loves the competitive nature of the sport in addition to the life changes she sees in herself and others because of being involved in CrossFit.  Her goal is to be able to compete at the Regional level and beyond.

Blakley is Level 1 certified and wants to continually grow her education in CrossFit.
