What is Village CrossFit?
Village CrossFit is a fitness facility that incorporates the CrossFit methodology in each training program offered. Our facility offers a variety of training programs for individuals across the fitness spectrum, which include CrossFit Level 1, On Ramp, and CrossFit Level 2. Village CrossFit places a strong emphasis on the betterment of your physical fitness and wellness through community development and support.
What is the difference between CrossFit Level 1 class and a CrossFit Level 2 class?
CF Level 1 workouts are constantly varied, functional movements, performed at high intensity. Their focus is on cardiovascular work while utilizing your body’s own isometrics to build strength and gain agility. Typical exercises include kettle bells, box jumps, wall balls, slam balls, running, jump rope, dumb bells, sit ups etc.
Conversely, our CrossFit Level 2 classes include all aspects of CF Level 1 plus focusing on lifting form and technique using external weights to build strength, agility, power, endurance, stamina, speed, coordination, balance, and accuracy.
Do I need to be in top physical condition in order to sign-up for the CF Level 1 or CF Level 2 classes?
Each program at Village CrossFit is scalable to each individual’s personal fitness level; hence, regardless of whether you are a elite athlete or working out for the first time, Village CrossFit can cater to your workout needs.
I am visiting from another city / CrossFit gym – can I drop-in for a workout?
Absolutely, Village CrossFit would love to have you come in. We simply request that check out our schedule online and send us an email request at email@example.com. Our drop-in fee is $20 or free with the purchase of a Village CrossFit shirt. Please arrive 10 minutes early in order to fill out a waiver.
How intense are the classes? How do I know this is for me?
Each and every program at Village CrossFit is scalable to your fitness level. In other words, it’s you against the workout – the intensity is set by you.
